You can apply for the EAC within 72 hours before your travel, or you can submit your application earlier, but you will still receive your EAC within 3 days before your entry. The "within 3 days before travel" includes the day of travel. For example, if you are traveling on January 3th, you will receive your EAC no earlier than January 1rd.
